Our GPs conduct telephone consultations, for conditions which do not require an examination, and conduct telephone triage for all same day urgent requests for appointments. Telephone consultations are ideal if your condition is not urgent, but you need to discuss ongoing medication issues, or discuss test result concerns.
Our receptionists follow confidentiality protocols, but they assist the GPs by asking patient for brief information about their condition. This helps the Doctor calling you or seeing you, and improves the quality of care they give you.
Please phone with non-urgent enquiries and appointment requests between 11.00am and 3.00pm when the phones are less busy. If you wish to speak to one of the doctors or nurses, you will be asked to leave your name, contact phone number and a brief message and the doctor or nurse will call you back.
The receptionists are bound by strict confidentiality protocols, and asking for information from you helps to effectively deal with your query. Our receptionists always endeavor to forward your query onto the most appropriate person.
